Vladimir McCrary is a model, actor, entrepreneur, digital artist, writer, and poet originally from San Antonio, Texas. A natural athlete from a young age, he played college basketball at New Mexico before playing on Magic Johnson and Patrick Hewing's touring team, which is no surprise for the 6 foot 7 inch stud. Traveling with the team around Europe, Vladimir was soon scouted and signed onto a modeling agency in Paris, where he now currently resides. Vladimir was quickly noticed by Jean Paul Gaultier, who showcased him in a fashion show, causing his modeling career to explode overnight. A supermodel of the 90s, he won “Les Trophées de la Mode et de la Beauté”, or model of the year, in 1999. He has walked many haute couture shows, working with designers like Gaultier and Thierry Mugler. In his acting career, he has left a mark with notable roles in films such as The Fifth Element (1997), Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001) and Dirt (2007). He is currently in the works of launching a new, spiritual eyewear brand named YellowBone Eyewear.
